We have decades of experience creating and/or refurbishing educational facilities that inspires learning within schools, colleges, and universities. To date over 200 projects have been completed with a gross value exceeding £100 million.

 

Many of the projects are carried out within fully operational ‘live’ environments, this means we ensure that our works are carried out with the minimum of disruption to the day to day operation of the facility.

 

All our teams are Enhanced DBS checked and fully understand the safety, health and environmental implications of working within education environments and will work with the stakeholders to phase works around key timetable events.

Our experience in this sector is diverse. New build or refurbishment projects range from traditional restorative works on Grade 1 Listed mansion houses, high-end apartments, luxury houses for private sale, to affordable and mixed tenure housing, and student accommodation.

Our range of services includes building new retail outlets, fitting-out and modernising existing ones, and converting retail space following an acquisition.

 

We work collaboratively with retailers, phasing construction works to minimise any impact on day-to-day retail operations and customer experiences and at the same time creating the next unforgettable shopper experience.

Healthcare

 

From refurbishment of hospital wings to new build health centres, we work with public and private healthcare providers to deliver facilities to address the healthcare agenda.

A church is not just a place of worship but is the heart of the local community, used and loved by many.  As such an ecclesiastical project requires close sensitive collaboration and attention to detail. 

 

Typically, there are many stakeholders in the project with a vested interest, or concerns, in the project; at MCS we listen and understand any concerns and ensure that all stakeholders remain informed throughout the duration of the project.

 

MCS has considerable new-build and refurbishment experience in the ecclesiastical sector with projects ranging from £50,000 to £4 million.
