The Gill Labrum Sixth Form Centre Officially Opens

On Wednesday 16th January 2024, Windsor Girls’ School’s newly completed sixth Form Centre was officially opened by HRH Duke of Edinburgh.

Working in collaboration with Clarkson Alliance, Edgingtons, Scott White Hookins and JDP Building Services, MCS was appointed to design & build the 2-storey building of 675m2.  The building today features six classrooms, two offices, a meeting room, a breakout space/refreshment area and sanitary facilities.

Managing Director, Justin Whiteman, said “Today is a wonderful moment for us all.  The collective efforts of designers, consultants and the whole supply chain has been rewarded by this fantastic new building for our future generations - creating excellent learning environments in which pupils will thrive.

“I would like to thank Clarkson Alliance for managing the process so effortlessly, Edgington Architects for creating a fabulous design, MEB Design for completing the great design, Scott White Hookins for yet again being a pleasure to work with and of course our wonderful construction team including Rob Medlicott, Oliver Barratt, Peter Greenaway, George Barton and all our subcontractors and suppliers.”
