On Sunday 9th June 2024 sixteen members of the MCS team will participate in Woking & Sam Beare Hospice’s Dragon Boat Races and Family Fun Day event at Goldsworth Park Lake, Surrey.
Ahead of the day the MCS’s rowing team are busily improving their fitness levels in anticipation for some serious competition on the day; so please do come along to this free family event to ‘cheer MCS on’ and show your support. We’d love to see you.

Last year the action-packed and colourful event was blessed with fantastic weather and the racing against the other 20 teams across the lake was fierce. Although we didn’t win on the day we were delighted to have been there to support Woking & Sam Beare Hospice - with help from our valued subcontractors, suppliers and manufacturers – and raise vital funds for this fabulous local charity.
