MCS has been re-appointed to Surrey County Council’s Fabric and MEP Projects Framework. Commencing this month, the new iteration of the framework will continue to support the authorities procurement for the construction and maintenance of its public sector buildings.
MCS secured places on Lot 1, General & Building Works; and Lot 6, Fit-Out Works. All projects on this framework will have a value of between £25k to over £1m.
MCS has worked with the framework since its inception, collaborating with many of Surrey’s public sector organisations through single-stage tendering arrangements, to deliver projects including: schools, homes, offices, civic and community facilities.
Justin Whiteman, Managing Director at MCS, said: “We are delighted to have secured our place on the next iteration of the framework and look forward to working with our local supply chain partners to deliver essential building and refurbishment works across Surrey.
“Our appointment to this framework is recognition of our success as an existing and trusted construction partner to Surrey County Council. Not only does this framework encourage efficient procurement, it also helps the industry to adopt a collaborative, best practice approach to all works.
“Our team are looking forward to continuing our collaborative work with Surrey County Council and other new framework members to ensure we achieve tangible benefits for local taxpayers and also deliver social value benefits, tailored to ease local pressures.”
