MCS sends thanks and warmest congratulations to John Rourke in recognition of 30 remarkable years of dedicated service.
John began his journey with MCS in 1995 as a Carpenter. Over the decades, his unwavering commitment, exceptional skill, and calm leadership has seen him rise through the ranks, taking on roles including Working Foreman, Site Manager, and now Special Works Manager.
Throughout his time at MCS, John has played a key role in the successful delivery of numerous high-profile and technically demanding projects. Among the many he's proud of, two stand out: the beautifully crafted new Whitty Theatre at Luckley House School, and the acclaimed accommodation block at Prior’s Court – a facility designed to support young people with severe autism, which went on to win industry accolades.
To mark this incredible milestone, John joined the Director team for a celebratory lunch, where he was presented with a selection of thoughtful gifts in appreciation of his long-standing service and contribution to the company.
Reflecting on John’s milestone, Justin Whiteman, Managing Director at MCS, said: “John has been an integral part of MCS for three decades, and his contribution to our success cannot be overstated.
“His deep knowledge of the craft, calm management, and absolute dedication have earned him the respect of colleagues, clients, and partners alike. We’re incredibly grateful for his service and proud to have him as part of the MCS team.”
