Internal Demolition Complete

Refurbishment and fit out works are continuing at fantastic pace for Forest Research at their Alice Holt Research Station in Farnham, Surrey.

A new, temporary, external entry point was formed to the 2nd floor area to enable the swift and safe internal strip out and demolition earlier this month.  This new entry point minimised building user disruption and expedited these phases of works.

This month the M&E first fix is currently underway together with the fitting of stud work and partitions, which will be followed by carpentry works commencing in May.

Once complete, the new office area will be able to accommodate over 50 people, in order for them to continue researching and providing essential advice in the areas of: ecology, sustainability, biodiversity and climate change.

These vital works are being delivered in collaboration with Contract Administrators, AtkinsRealis; Project Architects, Architon LLP and framework provider, Pagabo.
