We were delighted to attend the Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards yesterday evening at the Royal Lancaster in London, which celebrated and recognised the women, teams and organisations making outstanding contributions to gender diversity within the construction industry.
MCS’s Site Manager, Danica Chambers, was selected as a finalist within the ‘Inspirational Leader’ award for her innovative thinking, collaborative leadership on site, time taken to mentor work experience pupils from schools and colleges, which will inspire the next generation of women to embark on a career in construction.
We hope all finalists in all categories had wonderful evening and congratulate them on achieving their fantastic finalist positions. We believe they are all winners for inspiring and engaging their colleagues and improving outcomes for customers.
The whole MCS team look forward to once again celebrating the fabulous #IWCEAwards in the New Year.
