Works are progressing at great pace through the Summer at Chennestone Primary School in Sunbury on Thames for Surrey County Council.
This project involves extensive flat roof strengthening and refurbishment works to each of the buildings on the school estate; covering 24 roofs and 2,000sqm.
The removal of Asbestos containing materials is now well underway to facilitate a significant amount of structural repairs, specialist concrete repairs and treatments to all exposed concrete slab-ends and replacement of flat roofs coverings, roof lights and associated items with a new high specification covering, incorporating high levels of insulation.
These works are very carefully coordinated and delivered in a strict phased sequence, with full collaboration from the school, in order to minimise disruption.
