Great progress is being made on the extension at Eversfield Care Home, which is owned by the Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited who operate nine care homes across England.
Following the completion of foundations the substructure masonry was laid followed by the beam and block floor installation to the ground floor to allow the external walls to be built.
Over the next month the team have continued delivering the hollowcore floor and masonry up to plate level and will then install the trussed roof system.
Working in collaboration with Dalbergia Group, DAC Architects and CWPM, MCS has been appointed to carry out the D&B of a two-storey extension to the existing structure to form an additional 18nr ensuite bedrooms, 2nr sluice rooms, 2nr nurse stations and 1nr clinical room.
Eversfield Care Home is a handsome Victorian mansion in a leafy suburban street, just a short distance from the centre of Reigate and offers a home from home living with generously proportioned en-suite rooms.
These works are due to complete in Summer 2024.
