MCS is delighted to officially announce the award of a new project from London Borough of Merton at Perseid Lower School in Morden.
Working in collaboration with Barker Associates and Cobalt Project Management, MCS has been selected to carry out the refurbishment, remodelling and extension of the school building to significantly expand the special educational needs (SEN) teaching provision.
The project involves constructing a single-storey extension to the Brightwell Respite Care Centre to accommodate four new early years classrooms, music classroom and store, shared space, studio hall, designated out-of-hours area and supporting amenities. This expansion will allow for increased capacity within the Primary School by relocating the Early Years provision to the new extension.
External works will include the creation of new carparking, cycle parking, footpaths, external lighting, outdoor areas and removal of an existing modular music classroom.
These works are due to commence in August 2024.
